Privacy Policy

1. Who operates Rituno

Rituno is an AzharLabs product. AzharLabs is currently an independent brand operated by Mohamed Azharudeen. In this policy, “AzharLabs,” “Rituno,” “we,” and “us” refer to that operator. Privacy questions can be sent to support@azharlabs.com.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the Rituno mobile application for iPhone, iPad, and Android and to the Rituno pages on this website.

3. Information stored on your device

Rituno may store routine names, emoji and colour choices, selected days, reminder times and system notification identifiers, completion dates, daily mood scores, optional notes, and app preferences in app-private device storage. Core use does not require your name, email address, contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or advertising identifier.

4. Reminders and notifications

If you enable reminders, Rituno asks for notification permission and schedules local notifications through the operating system. Reminder schedules and identifiers remain on the device. Rituno does not need to send your routine names or notes to an AzharLabs push-notification server.

5. Optional exports

You can choose to create and share a JSON backup containing your routines, completion history, mood check-ins, notes, settings, and export time. The system share sheet lets you choose the destination. Once exported, the file is controlled by you and by the destination you selected.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

Native purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies and account settings. To confirm an entitlement, Rituno may send its verification service the platform, product identifier, transaction identifier, and store-issued purchase token or signed transaction information. Routine names, completion history, mood scores, and notes are not included in purchase-verification requests.

The verification service is designed not to retain request bodies or purchase tokens. Hosting and network providers may temporarily process IP addresses, request time, device or network metadata, and security or error information needed to operate and protect the service. Apple and Google retain transaction records under their own policies.

7. Support communications

If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Do not send passwords, purchase tokens, payment-card details, or private notes unless they are necessary for the support request. We use support messages to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

8. Advertising and analytics

The current release does not include third-party advertising or an automatic third-party analytics pipeline. If this changes, the app, store disclosures, and this policy will be updated before the changed practice is used.

9. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be processed by Apple, Google, hosting providers, security providers, or support infrastructure as needed to provide purchases, hosting, security, and support. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect users and the service.

10. Retention and deletion

• Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in Rituno, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
• Exported files remain wherever you saved or shared them.
• Support messages are retained only as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain security records, and meet legal obligations.
• Purchase records are retained by Apple or Google under their policies. The current verification service is designed to be stateless.

11. Security

We use reasonable measures such as app-private storage, encrypted HTTPS connections for purchase verification, limited request fields, and restricted production credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.

12. International processing

Store, hosting, and support providers may process limited information in countries other than yours. Their handling is governed by their terms, privacy policies, and applicable law.

13. Changes

We may update this policy when Rituno, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated.
